Lake Gogebic State Park
North of US 2 on M64 or South of Merriweather M28 on M64 on the West side of Lake Gogebic. Over I mile of lake frontage with 127 campsites and 200 picnic sites. Drinking water, sandy beach (no lifeguard), boat launch, fishing, flush toilets, shower building, sanitation station, electric hook-ups, playground, picnic shelter and hiking interpretive trail. Union Bay Campground
Located 17 miles West of Ontonagon on M-107 in Porcupine Mountains State Park. 100 campsites on Lake Superior. Lake Superior agate beach, boat launch, drinking water, electric hook-ups, flush toilets, fishing, hiking, playground, sanitation station, swimming, shower building, handicap accessible & waterfalls. Curry Park
Located in Ironwood on Highway US 2 has 56 sites with flush toilets, shower, sewage disposal, electrical service and a water supply. This facility is on a first come, first serve basis.

Bergland Township Park
Located South of M28 in Bergland. Go South about 3-4 blocks at the junction of M-28 and M-64 in Bergland. 15 campsites and 40 picnic sites. Swimming beach (no lifeguard), shower building, drinking water, sanitation station, flush toilets, fishing, boat launch, electric hook-ups and playground. Contact Louis Paulman at 906-575-3932.


Ontonagon County Park
Located on Lake Gogebic just just South of Merriweather on M-64 or North of Marenisco on the West shore of Lake Gogebic. 43 campsites and 15 picnic sites. Ontonagon Township Park
Located Northeast of Ontonagon on the Lakeshore road along Lake Superior. Turn North at the North Country Bank and follow Houghton St. 1.5 to 2 miles. 56 campsites and 40 picnic sites, drinking water, swimming, fishing nearby, pit toilet, sanitation station, electric hook-ups, playground & tennis courts nearby. State Outpost Campgrounds
These campgrounds are available through the Porcupine Mountains State Park headquarters. 16 campsites with fishing, pit toilets, hiking & waterfalls. For dates and availability call 906-885-5275.


Ottawa National Forest
The Ottawa National Forest offers a variety of camping facilities. You choose the sight! They offer water, toilets, garbage cans, and fire pits. Lakes with camping are too numerous to name. Fees apply to some areas. For information contact the Forest Supervisor’s Office at 906-932-1330, for reservations 800 280-2267.


Presque Isle Campground
Located 17 miles North of Wakefield on County Road 519 on the West end of the Porcupine Mountains State Park. 88 campsites on Lake Superior with drinking water, Lake Superior swimming,, hiking, waterfalls, agate beach, fishing & picnic shelter. Rustic, no showers, no electricity. Has hand pumps and pit toilets only and is $9.00 per night. Reservations by calling 800-447-2757


Sylvania Wilderness
Located in Watersmeet, this 18,327 acre wilderness is old growth forests and crystal clear lakes. Camping is permitted at designated sites by permit only. Designated campsites have fire grates and wilderness latrines. Special fishing regulations apply to Sylvania lakes. For information or reservations you can contact the District Ranger at 906-358-4551.
